January 2003 Meeting

1930: Meeting came to order
Pledge of allegiance
Invocation
Toll the boats (Boats lost in January)

Chuck Gudis gave brief history of American Legion. Invited all Sub Vets to attend all meetings and social functions.

Old business:
Roger Warden reports he is working on base patch NUC & DBF patches available MFS netted $52 from base members

New Business:
Force Master Chief for SubLant said he would attend March meeting and give slide show on submarine technology. Offered a plan to utilize our homes for subvets and subsailors passing through Richmond.

All members are asked to bring some snacks to next meeting. This will take the load off one person each month. Bring enough for about three people. Beer and coffee will be available.

The regular meeting will start at 1930 preceded by Happy Hour from 1900 to 1930.

Motion Made and passed to elect Dave Yonkers as the bases Chief of the Boat
            Patrick Rogers elected Chaplin
            Frank Kenyon elected Storekeeper
